Emily and Paul have been married for seven years, and it is becoming clearer every day that their marriage is failing. For this reason, they decide to undergo a reversion.

Their feelings are reset to the day of their wedding. They expect everything to be like it used to be, and for them to fall back in love with each other soon.

However, the seven-day process is more unpleasant than either of them had expected. They are thrown into emotional chaos and discover things they never wanted to know. They experience pain beyond anything they could have imagined.

Ultimately, Emily and Paul must ask themselves the biggest question of all: was there ever anything worth going back to?
